Ranger

The generic name of the main infantry force of EDF.
Their specialty is in combat skills using variety of firearms.
Balanced in both offense and defense, they are the primary force for performing combat operations.

Wing Diver

Flight soldiers equipped with flight-units.
Elite troops consisted only for women. They fly across the sky using energy weapons that don't require ammunitions.
Compared to Rangers, their armor or sustainability is next to nothing, but they make up for it with their superb mobility and powerful weapons.

Fencer

Soldiers who are equipped with military exoskeleton called the "Powered Skeleton".
With physical strengths exceeding 1 ton, they are capable of holding super-heavy firearms, effectively turning them into walking tanks.
They are known as "Fencers" because of their equipment weapon called the "Blast Hole Spear".

Air Raider

In late years, the street wars with the hit squads were happening frequently.
Meanwhile, the number of casualties at every battle have been increasing due to the insufficient visibility and difficulty of providing effective air support in urban warfare.
To solve this problem, specialists for requesting air support at the right timing for effective air raids were deployed.

Aggressive Alien Species α

Alien creatures brought in by the alien civilization known as Primers.
Due to their highly aggressive nature towards native species, they were given the name "Aggressive Alien Species α" ("AASα" in short).
Approximately 11 meters in total length. They are surprisingly agile, even though they are giant as the size of elephants.
They're also capable of crawling up the walls vertically, with no visible decrease in speed.
Their primary weapon is their big fangs, but the most dangerous weapon is their ability to spray strong acid.
This acid can reach targets up to 100 meters away and people confirmed the metals melting within seconds.

Aggressive Alien Species α Type Red

They are thought to be a subspecies of AASα. Since they are huge in size and wrapped in a hard crust that can even repeal bullets, a strong firepower is required to exterminate them. But due to their inability to spray acid, they are not as hard to defeat.

Aggressive Alien Species β

They are code named "Aggressive Alien Species β" ("AASβ" in short). Even though they were thought to be far less agile than "AASα", the troop which fought with them were heavily damaged. Therefore, they seem to possess high combat capabilities after all.

Aggressive Alien Species γ

A third type of aggressors brought in by the aliens (Primers?). They are code named "AASγ".
Since they move very slow, at first they appear to be of no threat. But they are capable of extremely dangerous and effective attacks that utilize their enormous body. They roll themselves up into a sphere and start crushing everything which appear in their path.
Fortunately, since our weapons can penetrate their exoskeleton, to exterminate them is not considered impossible.

Flying Aggressor

Since it was the first time to identify aggressors with flight capabilities, their threat level were thought to surpass that of "α" and "β". They have spread across the world in seconds after they were first spotted at South America. Since they are able to fly, their spread of contamination or the speed of pollution is very rapid.
They are major threat to civilians because wide area will be put in danger very quickly. Their extermination should be given top priority.Their combat capabilities are very high and they emit needle-like tissue in midair.
Those can even penetrate AFV armored vehicles.
Despite their enormous size, they can move very quickly.
Considering the fact that the helicopter attacking units have been completely destroyed by them, their aerial combat skills must be much greater than predicted.

Winged Flying Aggressor

The armored flying vehicle of the Primers.
The ship has been observed to be boarded by multiple humanoid aliens.
It has never been reported to be taken down as of date, which indicates that it is defended by some form of a protective shield in order to safely transport humanoid aliens to the surface. From this, the ship is to be considered as a landing ship.
The ship has not been reported to be armed as of date.
Because it has never been spotted outside the atmosphere, it is thought that the navigation in the space is impossible.

Its body is well strengthened, and its armor strength exceeds far more than that of the normal battle drones.
