Active duty members of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard) receive a 20% discount off the purchase of up to 5 general admission tickets (adult or senior) with a current military photo ID or military dependent ID (not available online).

The Ark Encounter opens at 9:00 am and closes between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm, depending on the season. Admission To The Ark Encounter

To enter the Ark Encounter, you need a ticket, which you can purchase online or at the ticket counter on arrival. We bought our tickets in advance to avoid the line waiting to purchase. The ticket includes access to the Ark Encounter exhibits, restaurants, and other attractions.

The zoo, Children's Zoo, kangaroo walkabout, and animal shows are included with Ark Encounter admission. Camel rides and camel encounters have an additional cost. Check the daily schedule for hours.

Is there free parking at the Ark Encounter? No parking is not free but they have a large parking lot and nice buses to drive you to the park. It is $15 for standard vehicles.

As you enter the Ark, you can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, or at least, I did. Much walking and you walk on ramps or they do have elevators. The Ark itself is 510 ft long, 85 ft wide, and 51 ft high. You go on a self-guided tour, so you can go at your own pace.
