Why did Hori's father never home? ›

Kyousuke Hori (堀 京介, Hori Kyōsuke^?) is the husband of Yuriko Hori and the wandering father of Kyouko Hori and Souta Hori who is often absent from home due to work.

Kyousuke Hori is a supporting character in Horimiya and is the father of Kyouko Hori and Souta Hori and the husband of Yuriko Hori.

History. Kyouko was born to Kyousuke Hori and Yuriko Hori as their first child and only daughter. Early on in her childhood, she met and became friends with Kakeru Sengoku, whose father went to the same school as Kyouko's parents and was well acquainted with them.

Yuriko Hori is a supporting character in Horimiya and is the mother of Kyouko Hori and Souta Hori and the wife of Kyousuke Hori.

He, in turn, asks Hori to marry him. As of now, in the manga, they are engaged. In the webcomic ending, Miyamura and Hori get married (which now makes her Kyouko Miyamura), and she gives birth to a son named Kyouhei Miyamura.

Then Yuki was asked out by Akane Yanagi, she rejected him since she was in love with Toru.

She and Miyamura eventually marry and, in the webcomic, have a son named Kyouhei.

Toru is a classmate of Hori and Miya who, initially, has a crush on Hori. After she turns him down he, surprisingly, ends up becoming really good friends with Miya. Toru seems to be unaware of his likability when, in reality, there are two girls vying for his affection: Yuki Yoshikawa and Sakura Kono.

The Romance

Hori and Miyamura are the palpitating heart of Horimiya and Horimiya: The Missing Pieces, but attached to their intimate (and somewhat frantic) escapades is a smattering of hankerings. For example, Ishikawa, Sawada and Mizouchi all pined for Hori at some point in their lives, only to lose out to Miyamura.

When heavy rain keeps Miyamura from going home, Hori cuddles with him in bed and they have sex for the first time. Afterward, Hori had bitten him on the back of his neck, which Shindou believed was a mark of 'ownership'. After this, Hori starts to be more open about the fact that she is, somewhat, of a masoch*st.

Unlike Miyamura, Hori loves horror movies. Hori is a masoch*st (a person who derives gratification, sexual or otherwise, from the pain or humiliation of themselves) as she asks being shouted/hit at by Miyamura.

At the beginning of the Horimiya anime series, Tooru Ishikawa has an evident crush on Kyouko Hori. As Hori often spends time with Miyamura, Tooru tends to get jealous of Miyamura, which leads to a fight.

Sakura Kouno (河野 桜, Kōno Sakura?) is a supporting character of the Horimiya series who serves as the vice president of the student council of Katagiri Senior High School. She is enrolled in Class 3-5 with Remi Ayasaki.

It's official. Hori will finally meet her boyfriend's parents. While studying for an exam at Miyamuras house, Miyamuras mum and dad decide to close the bakery early and come home. Miyamura has met Horis parents but Hori has never met his parents and it seems like she finally will.

Personality. Yuki, for the most part, is generally known for her upbeat and happy go lucky personality. Much like her best friend and classmate, Kyouko Hori, Yuki is always creating a lively atmosphere around herself and those she's close with in her circle.

Because Miyamura (being the kind boyfriend he generally is) is a gentle sweetheart to her, she prefers it when he puts on a "bad boy" or "abusive boyfriend" persona, as a means to personally satisfy her. This is seen whenever she wants him to yell at her or physically hit her.

She and Miyamura eventually marry and, in the webcomic, have a son named Kyouhei. A boy in Hori's class.
